Billing applies to Sitepins Cloud only. Self-hosted installs have no subscription. See Self-Hosting.
Billing in the account menu, or Cmd+K and search for “billing”.
Upgrading
The billing page shows every plan with three billing periods:
- Monthly
- Yearly — discounted against monthly
- Lifetime — a one-time payment
Pick a plan and period, then continue to checkout. Payment is processed by Paddle, which handles the transaction and any applicable tax.
New features are available as soon as the payment goes through. If the plan doesn’t seem to have changed, give it a moment and reload — the billing page re-checks automatically for a short while after checkout.
Payment History
The Overview page lists every payment with its date, package, amount, and status.
Statuses you may see: completed, pending, failed, cancelled, refunded.
Updating Your Payment Method
Click Update Payment Method on the billing page. This opens Paddle’s secure form, where you can change the card on file.
Do this before your renewal date if your card is expiring — a failed renewal payment eventually downgrades the account.
Cancelling
Click Cancel Subscription and confirm.
What happens:
- You keep access until the end of the period you’ve already paid for. Cancelling doesn’t cut you off immediately.
- No further charges are made.
- Your data is preserved. Projects, schemas, snippets, and settings stay where they are.
- You can reactivate any time by subscribing again.
When the paid period ends, the account returns to Hobby limits. If you’re over them, Sitepins archives the excess rather than deleting it — see Plans & Limits.
Your Git repositories and all their content are unaffected by any of this.
Lifetime Plans
A lifetime plan is a one-time payment with no renewal, so there’s nothing to cancel or update. It doesn’t appear as a recurring subscription.
Usage Meters
The Overview page shows how much of your plan you’re using:
- Organizations — organizations you own, against your limit
- Sites — non-archived projects across those organizations
- Users per Org — distinct members across your organizations
Meters shift colour as you approach a limit. Archiving a project or organization frees its slot immediately.
Enterprise
Enterprise pricing is arranged directly — the plan card links to contact rather than a checkout.
Billing Questions
For invoices, refunds, VAT, or a payment problem, contact support. Payments run through Paddle, which is the merchant of record and issues the receipts.
