OpenAI Integration
Sitepins allows you to connect your own OpenAI API key to unlock AI-powered writing inside the editor. It helps you create, rewrite, and improve content—without ever leaving the CMS.
Key Features

How to Enable AI Integration
Section titled “How to Enable AI Integration”
- Go to the Sitepins AI page
- Enter your OpenAI API key
- You can get one at platform.openai.com/account/api-keys
- Choose your preferred model (default is
gpt-4o-mini) - Click Save
Once enabled, AI features will appear in the toolbar of the Rich Text Editor.
:::note Your API key is never shared with other users or projects. Sitepins uses it securely to make requests on your behalf. :::
Where AI Works
Section titled “Where AI Works”AI editing only available inside the Rich Text Editor view.
- Markdown files opened in the visual editor can use AI suggestions
- Non-Markdown formats do not currently support AI features
